Step 12: Disconnect the camera and sensor cable.

The front-facing camera cable and the sensor cable should be disconnected as well. To do this, you will need the flat-end spudger to pry the cable connectors away carefully. Make sure that you do not affect the logic board when you pry the cable.

Using the flat-end spudger, pry the cable to disconnect the connector from the logic board.

With the flat-end spudger, pry the display data connector carefully. When you reassemble the unit and power on the phone, expect that the display data will pop off the connector, which may result in a blank screen or white lines. To resolve this issue, you will need to reconnect the cable once more and start the power cycle of the phone again by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery connector.

To do this, the flat-end spudger should be used to pry the cable connector for the digitizer. Take note that when you reconnect the cable connector, avoid pressing the center of the connector. Just press both ends and avoid the center of the connector.
